Cypress Dubin and Aharon Wheels Bolsta guide us on a meditative sonic journey with signature etherial vocals weaving manta, medicine songs, and sound healing through world and shamanic influences. Featuring material from Cypress’ upcoming album release ALTAR.
Vocal artist, sound healer, educator and altar designer, Cypress has been teaching for 11 years and singing for 35. She integrates music, sound healing, yoga, meditation, and nature-based practices into distinct experiences that cultivate a capacity for connection, deep listening, and inquiry. Music is medicine. Her signature sound weaves mesmerizingly enchanting vocals with manta, medicine songs, vocal improvisation, Tibetan bowls, world and shamanic instruments. Cypress is a graduate of the music program at Barnard College Columbia University, and SAG-AFTRA member with credits in major motion pictures such as Home Alone, BB Kings NYC, Reno International Jazz Festival, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9 with the Santa Cruz Symphony. http://www.cypressdubin.com
