Both my vintage jewelry business and community organizing birthed from two things: witnessing and experiencing systemic oppression of marginalized communities at my places of employment and in community, and witnessing the depths of capitalism with price gouging at jewelry stores where I was employed. In my business practice, I offer sliding scale for queer, BIPOC & disabled community members, as well as offer payment plans to make my jewelry more accessible for working class & fellow low-income folx.
